Mic Drop Comedy was born from a shared love of laughter and community. Founded by Colleen and Dave Specht, Hillary Hutson, and Casey Currier, the journey began in 2016 with ImprovMANIA — a troupe that brought improvisational comedy to stages across the Valley.

In 2022, the team planted their flag in San Diego, opening a dedicated comedy space that quickly became a local favorite. The success proved what they already knew: audiences are hungry for intimate, high-quality live comedy.

In 2024, Mic Drop Comedy found its permanent home at 51 E. Boston St. in the heart of Downtown Chandler, Arizona. The venue features a 100-seat Main Showroom designed for an up-close comedy experience, plus a 45-seat outdoor Comedy Garden perfect for Arizona evenings.

More than just a comedy club, Mic Drop Comedy is a full-service restaurant and bar, a walking tour company, and a community gathering place. From touring national headliners and weekly open mics to Drag Brunch Bingo, ghost tours, and private events — there's always something happening at the Mic Drop.
